Hello, what would be a good salary for a tax analyst in industry? For someone coming from PA as a senior in Chicago.

Looking to meet new folks in NJ area. Preferring couples (without children), who are chill, likes playing board games, enjoy outdoorsy activities and are vaccinated. We are in our early 30s and are LGBTQIA+ friendly.

P.S. not being disrespectful towards folks who have kids but we have learnt from experience that we are not at the same conversational plane with them.

Is it just me or do 90% of the jobs being laid off by big tech sound made up? Many job descriptions with multiple bullet points that all kinda revolve around the same idea. One of my buddies works for a big IT company and literally just sits on meetings all day. No one really contributing to anything other than agreeing to whatever the speaker is saying. Are these kind of jobs finally being exposed? Six figure employees getting paid to sit and bounce ideas off each other?

I’m being taken advantage of with being thrown so much work and really don’t see my salary increasing to be in line with my coworkers doing similar work. I’m a consistent high performer - management reviews tell me that much.
