Normally entry level doesn't get to ask for anything. They get a take it or leave it offer.
She seems to have issues doing things herself. I'd offer her 25k.
$40K-$45K
$40k

Started as an assistant media buyer in 2004 and got $26k in Chicago. She needs to be prepared that the entry levels are overworked and underpaid
My first agency AAE job in Chicago paid 35K. As AD1 said, it was a take it or leave it offer.
When you're starting out, you kinda gotta take what is given to you. If she doesn't take it, someone else quickly will.
In that situation, you accept what you are given with much gratitude and humility.
agree with both of the above posts - $40ish. reality, if she's just starting out, they'll make her an offer with little if any wiggle room.
My first AAE gig paid 42k, agency side.
As for 48 knowing she'll likely only get 40-42
