You wanted IT ppl to speak out against things like stopping border crossings? That's a pretty centrist agreed upon concept
Why would they do that?
PWC 2- were not just on “illegal” border crossings anymore. They’re ejecting people who are here legally that they disagree with and threatening US citizens. Now we’re onto- no one can say anything negative about the president or one specific foreign country or else.
None of this seems very free to me. And nothing about US support of that other country is very “America First”.

What’s the irony? Neither of those demographics voted. H1B1 has had issues with companies abusing this system for a while, not necessarily sponsoring talent lacking around the US but rather cheaper talent that companies could exploit. Now if talent can’t be found in the US then $100k would be nothing for them if their skills are in high demand like they say it is.

You can look up the voting statistics. The majority of Indian Americans voted Democrat. Indian Americans are one of the most blue leaning ethnicities in the US.
