Anybody work in SNF/LTC? Pros cons? I’ve been working in a hospital setting and thinking about making the switch over

General corporate in NY looking to lateral into tech transactions at one of the EC/VC firms. I’ve heard that I may get a class cut if I make the move but I’m ok with that. My worry is that EC/VC firms are crazy busy work differently from general corp, I also won’t have control over my hours, and potentially worse based on how billing differs (block billing on a few clients vs having to work with 15 or more startups). Is the same true for tech trans or IP group?

I'm an IP Attorney for a global Fortune 500 company. I only focus on IP mainly patent prosecution, Right to Market searches, Patentability searches, Landscape Searches, advising the business on IP related agreements.

So In addition to it being my first social work position in a hospital I am creating my position, with a lack of supervision.
