Just started a little over a month ago, however I’m actively applying cause it’s not what i thought. Should I add this to my resume? Nothing to highlight yet, too short of a time period.

Would like your advices. Awhile back I applied and was video interview for a position at a competitor. I suspect I wouldn’t get it based on the vibes they gave off. Now randomly I get an email from one of their recruiter asking if I was interested to apply for a similar position. Should I even bother? It might be with the same people.

I've been full time remote for 4 years. This week I interviewed for an internal position that was listed as open to any US office location. HR told me I would have to work out of the nearest office (3 hours from my home) even though the position supervisor, client, and entire team, are located in another state. Their reasoning is "This is not a remote position." Um ok, good luck filling that vacancy.

How does a litigation paralegal, with over 20 years of experience, get into the corporate world? like a contract paralegal? I've always worked in litigation, and really want to get into a large corporation, I have made it to interviews, but seems like they always want someone with transactional and contract experience.

Had applied for BVS FS last fall. Met some amazing interviewers in 3 rounds, but due to sudden illnesses and bereavement in the family, had to pull out of the process. At the time, I wrote a polite email explaining the circumstances. Is it possible to rejoin the process? Recruiter (one of many) hasnt responded.
Any suggestions on how to get back on the “trail”?

Am I being too judgmental? During the interview process I ask questions that help me identify culture. During my recent interview I directly asked “How would you describe your culture?”, and it was described as “work hard, play hard”. I expected a much more meaningful reply. Thoughts?

Currently interviewing at JPMorgan in their CIB division for a associate operations role. Have met with 5 people for two different teams and another person for another team, all of which I believe are 3 total open positions for 3 different teams. PA for the most part is a sink or swim environment for new joiners. They don’t tend to get the coaching they need generally, and the cycle repeats when the new joiners who ‘survive’ become the seniors/acting seniors/managers and think ‘no one did this for me’. Or when there’s a new joiner who starts off with a toxic supervisor, and then they adopt that senior’s bad habits.

My daughter’s softball team was supposed to play in a tourney last weekend but there weren’t enough teams entered so it got cancelled. Another team in another tourney needed an extra player so I said my daughter could pick up with them which guaranteed her to play at least 5 games with them Sat-Sun.
