Hey all! I am currently a nurse practitioner trying to break into a non clinical role. I have been an RN since 2016 in the ED and most recently an ED NP for the past two years. I really would love to transition into any non clinical role but they seem like unicorn positions without a direct connection. Any advice, referrals, or help would be amazing. I have two small kids at home and really want to pivot into a career that fits my new lifestyle. Anyone willing to help would be so so appreciated!

I felt like a walking zombie during thanksgiving, barely eating and barely talking. My family is small and I told them ahead of time my relationship ended. I focused on my niece and nephews, cried when I wanted to and slept from 8pm-noon for the last 5 days. Showered once or twice. That’s the best I could do and that’s OK right now. I’m back in my apartment, just trying to take it one day at a time, and not re read his texts too much. My birthday is Thursday 🙄

My manager nominated me for judging a small programme happing virtually with two other head of the Department, but when I joined the programme someone from office outside was included for that with director and those two HODs were also not there... I prepared my speech, well dressed up but when hosts announce the name of judges I felt bad... he could have atleast informed me... everytime he does the same kind of thing and than says in corporate sector types of politics happens...

I’ve been interviewing at an agency with the intention of filling a Director role. Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.

Recruitment can’t tell me what feedback is creating this gap but also won’t stop mentioning the positive praise and feedback the team had for me.
