My VC firm has been using Altvia (which sits on top of Salesforce) for CRM, deal flow, fundraising, and investment tracking, and honestly it’s been kind of a pain — super powerful, but way too heavy for how we actually work as a small VC team.

Thinking about switching to something better and wanted to see what other firms are using. What CRM setups have you found actually work well for VC (deal flow + fundraising + investment tracking).

I have recovered from Corona Virus. Its 6 weeks now and I can tell you that the after effects are real. I have anxiety that I will never get over the fatigue, brain fog, inability to form sentences and words and headaches which make my work days very difficult to get thru.

Recent PhD in life science looking to get into biotech VC. Can’t find much information on applying for these roles. I’ve heard that it’s not uncommon to go in without business/finance experience, but is it actually rare?

London comp: I’m looking to move from one of the few fund of funds outside of London and looking at associate roles in VC fund of funds + co-investment or PE secondaries/buyout. Recruiter has told me salaries are £100k/£130k respectively. What are peoples salaries + bonus for these or similar roles in London? Would also be interesting to know analysts comp.
