Try IQVIA

Checked out IQVIA, seems neat, thank you!

smart

IQVIA is forgivable - we’ve only been IQVIA since November! (Previously Quintiles and IMS Health).

But ZS, (formerly) IMS, Huron, Charles River, Parexel, Deallus, etc. should all be part of OP’s consideration set as PLS-focused shops

True indeed. Most of our offices do have kegs. We enjoy spending time with our colleagues and some choose to have a beer at the end of the day.

I suggest you apply and have the travel conversation with the interview team. Experiences in our firm vary quite a bit. I know some who have been on the road for 2 years and others who have been home for 2 years. I think the firmwide average is south of 50% nights away from home, but average doesn’t tell the story as expectations are different in our practices.

In Healthcare, we have a lot of anchor clients in Chicago so I would expect less travel. New York is a growing business for us so they likely will travel more.

Even with clients in different geographies we try to be smart about being flexible regarding onsite, but as I am sure you understand client face time is important.

My suggestion to our people and recruits, have the conversation and see if we can make it work.

I was just approached by Polaris. Might be worth looking into

Thanks - i actually just looked into both, but neither had openings in my area :(

@OP no judging just curious. You have never heard ZS or IQVIA before?? When you say healthcare consulting, what do you exactly mean?

Now it makes sense. Checked out McBee Associates. They are on the provider, health system side

@wm someone said something about free beer or a beer tap at west montoe

@westmonroe i was looking at a sr manager position in ny, but it does list travel as a req. While i expect to travel for business development and client facing, do you have any insight on how much travel they are implying?

Thank you, very helpful

Just graduated with Aerospace Engineering degree. I am interviewing for multiple positions at once with different companies. One gave me an offer and they want me to get back to them within 2 days. I still have other interviews scheduled and some for higher paying jobs (around 90k) What should I do?
I do like the company that gave me an offer but their base pay was 80k and they went up to 85k. Is asking for them to match the 90k too much? The position is associate systems engineer.

Been in the strat game for over a decade; I’ve realized that a strong department with clear process that is built on end to end problem solving (with time to think) is when I’m happiest vs this award show / case study grind.
