Anything you’re doing on excel can def be done on a Mac
Let me clarify - anything you’re doing on excel for business school* can def be done on a Mac
There’s a 0% chance you’re doing anything super advanced in business school unless OP decides to take an engineering class at MIT
Coach
Get a thinkpad or some kind of windows computer. It will be a lot better to train yourself with tools because you can replicate a work environment. No company will give you a Mac
Usually I’d agree but not always the case bc it depends on OPs career trajectory - Amazon gives the option for a Mac and many PMs choose that option. I doubt they’re the only company that does so
mac’s more than enough
HBS needs Windows. All other business schools need Mac

I went with thinkpad and loved modeling with it. But Mac should be more than enough

A lot but mostly for recruiting. It's the best way I learn
nah def don’t need thinkpad for hbs air is more than enough and id heavily recommend it
Lmao any computer is fine for any school’s work. If you’re considering careers in banking/PE with modeling tests then I’d go with PC > Mac
