Can someone share his views of working on a contractual role with Mc Kinsey. Is it worth joining? I got a call from a recruiter saying that the process for hiring within Mc Kinsey has changed, they now hire on contractual basis and then after an year either the contract gets extended or they hire as full time consultant.

Why are town Hall meetings so impersonal? They are all about awards / the number of people hired. I know FCB health is large, but we never hear from people who aren’t Executives. Last town hall, when discussing inclusion efforts, there were no people of color represented and one of the 4 pillars of diversity was centered around our “reputation as an organization” (that really rubbed me the wrong way). At my last agency those conversations were always led by people of color from every level.

Hi! I recently switched to a new employer, who promised in writing on email that they’d start my GC process right after I complete 3 months with the firm. I’m currently on the 4th month and the process has not yet begun.
Please note that I have to give a couple of exams/certifications, one of which I failed very recently. This is keeping me from asking my employer about the GC process. Am I being irrational? Any advice or help would be highly appreciated. Thank you.
