Hey, i got an offer at EY as well as Deloitte and the joining would be on second week of August. The role is senior consultant at tech consulting in EY where I'll be working under Vanguard client. So any idea on how the work will be? Also I am being spammed to finish the joining formalities asap or they have sent a note in the email telling that the compensation will be revised if I delay it... Also between Deloitte and EY which would be better as both are giving me the same package.

Hi All. I moved to a new company , I just got my take home salary and my current pay is less that previous pay ,because of different state and other taxes. My new company is better but the pay is demotivating me . It is almost $500 less per biweekly pay check . What to do get out of the demotivation? Some Business Intelligence/Analyst roles are very data heavy. I wonder why these roles do not have the term “data” in them, and wonder if it’s to keep the salary lower than it should be. I have colleagues doing intense data science tasks as BI Analysts, and can’t help but feel indignant on their behalf because when hearing their job title, one would underestimate their technical ability.
