Hey IBM Sharks. I am on bench for over 4 months(Band:7A).

Seems like there are no projects.

I even spoke to the Business unit Leader head and he said he forwarded my CV to all project managers. But no response as of yet.

Should I be worried of getting fired? Afterall the company has been doing billing against my name without any allocation and that worries me.

What are some of the pay ranges to expect in CLT as a business project manager?

Anybody else have a desire to bill more hours on a project than you actually work when the project itself is incredibly frustrating? In agency and/or freelance? Because let’s be real, 1 hour of standard work does NOT equal 1 hour of work when someone makes your job incredibly difficult.

SAFe SPC certified. 5 years of agile project, program management and release train engineer experience. Anyone looking to hire? Not a fan of PwC. Leaders in my area are frustratingly uninspiring.

I just finished a big jury trial with a senior partner (SP). There were co-parties w/separate counsel. SP mentally checked out, to the point that co-counsel was asking what SP was doing/if SP was okay. I ended up handling most everything. SP did a few parts but went rogue and did things that were offensive/risky/bad for client. It became clear that SP is not performing like SP used to and may be a liability. Do I tell someone at my firm? Don’t want to offend SP or cause drama, but I’m concerned.

What kind of modeling is required in ODD projects? What are u actually doing on the project? It’s described as M&A strategy ODD type of work

Is there an easy way to switch XLOOKUPS to INDEX MATCH? Have a large file with bunch of formulas that don't work on all client machines (different excel versions).

Is your firm treating 12/26 and 12/27 as firm holiday since the 24th and the 25th are during the weekend this year? Of course client demands would dictate whether people will be working, but curious what the official policy is. For what it’s worth, my firm treated the day after thanksgiving as holiday and I didn’t have to work for the whole day.

With product design questions, I struggle to identify user groups. Once I do everything starts flowing and I’m confident. But the initial identification of user groups is something I find challenging. What’s your go-to way of doing this?
