I usually just wear my hair down after I wash/style it (I have curly hair) and every now and then I'll put it up in a slick bun
Color wow’s pop + lock gloss helps so much for slicked back looks!
I usually wear my hair in different variations of a bun. I part it differently in front (middle, side, diagonal. Sometimes get fancy with two flat twists in front), and also placement of the bun (high, low) to prevent traction thinning or sore scalp. Sometimes I’ll do two flat twists in the front and cross cross them in the back so my hair is off my neck in this heat.
I have found that lightly blowdrying my hair to makes it easier to control frizz/flyaways with a little spritz, than slicking it back curly with gels and pomades, and I use a lot less Bobby pins!
As an aside, I should own stock in Bobby pins for how many I use, lose, repurchase those things.
