Hi Fishies, I was hired for wealth and asset management project EY . It is capital market domain. Any body have any idea about this project going on in EY and the tools used for it.
Please advise if anyone have idea about it.
Just want to know any global tool they use for wealth and asset management, so it's a plus for me to join.
Thanks in advance
Hello Fishers, need your help to finalize my decision.
I have 5 YOE and I have done a full-time MBA. I am currently working with one of the product organizations as a business analyst. TIAA offering 17 LPA Fixed (Including PF) against 1 counter offer I had of 15.6 LPA Fixed.
My CCTC is 9.35 LPA so should I ask for more here? Also, how are work culture and policies considering I will be part of the BA profile?

Agree with the comments above. Consider living slightly further out with accessible links, lower rent and council tax. Travel will be slightly higher. Or a flatshare with more people to split the costs. But that comes with its own problems.
If you can negotiate a decent WFH policy then you can save a bit of quid.
Consider Beckenham, Raynes Park, Guildford, Crystal Palace. Possibly, if you can find a steal to stay in, Clapham Common or Wimbledon or Putney.
I’m sure others can recommend some decent places north of the river.
Good luck. It’s great.
Sorry I meant 7AM train. That’s still crazy! That still means getting up at 6am. @OP it would be like commuting in from Westchester. But for little benefit.
Yes you can live on 70k. People live on far less, but the cost of living is making things tough in London. Particularly with accommodation. Sadly our industry salaries aren’t comparable to your NYC numbers!
This is really helpful, thank you so much! I’ve been thinking a lot about the experience of living in another country and the benefits that would have, from a life aspect (to your point). I am definitely going to check out that Facebook group!!
What are you earning now in NYC as a benchmark?
For the UK think about the tax bands etc, the tax system is very different to the US and I'd say in the US you actually take home less percentage wise for the same salary when everything is accounted for. Just experience from having lived in both places, I was always shocked about how much came off my US salary!
