If you are having difficulty getting administration to buy in, you could work on rallying the "strongest" (most influential) faculty members to collaborate on a plan. It would be extremely difficult to change the culture of an entire school, single handedly. Are you familiar with concepts and strategies as a starting point? Have you asked admin if they would allow you to create a committee dedicated to school climate and culture? It takes a village...
Not sure how many people are in here yet- must not be the best climate if admin isn’t supportive...? Maybe there is a counselor who could help endorse it?
If you’re on a team, start there and move outward. To be honest, I’m at a huge school (IMO). People stick to their departments. I like the warm and fuzzy and knowing my coworkers. So, big adjustment for me. 😳
