I have been a .Net backend dev for the past 6 years now with good enough exposure and experience in flutter and python. I was just wondering is it worth it to learn Xamarin now?
I recently read somewhere that even Microsoft has deprecated Xamarin.
Was just wondering if it would add an advantage to my learning and resume?

Recommendations on how to switch of out advertising? I’m so over media strategy and want to switch into something different. I’ve toyed with UX strategy or design but would also be happy with doing something in marketing that I actually care about and have fun.

Just got a job offer with CVS. To say the least I’m super excited to work for an Fortune 5 company. However, the job offer 1k less than my current company, but I thought this will be boost my growth and experience. Was my choices a smart move? I’m a fifth year associate who is ready to get out of litigation (and private practice altogether). I’ve only ever done professional malpractice (legal, med mal, etc) and feel like those skills will not transfer as well if I had done transactional work. HiAll, My lead resigned and my manager informed me just 2 weeks before her lwd on this and asked me to take up all their responsibilities. I don't think this is not a professional way to handle things and KTs are not properly given. I'm really worried if this will affect my career. I'm not really interested to work in this project. I have tried many ways to release me from this project . But manager is really amendment to release as there is no senior member in the team.

Just got an offer for a Sr. AWS DevOps role at 145K, I will be working remotely 100% with maybe 5% travel, if any. No bonus with this company. I have over 8 years of DevOps and AWS, all AWS certs . I have applied to at least 1000+ jobs within the past 6 months and can’t find anything. I’m getting very overwhelmed with finding some remote work. I feel like I graduated at an awkward time (2020) so my experience isn’t as relevant and isn’t getting me anywhere.

Got written up by my admin for sending a PSA to teachers to call a trans student by their correct name and pronouns. Says I “didn’t follow the chain of command for Title IX issues.” For context I teach in the south and my admin says they legally “don’t recognize transgenders.” Any advice?

Could use some help with an awkward dynamic.

My Dept has been tapped to help another dept promote a DEI study. The client dept has hired a consultant in this area. The challenges I see with this consultant's work style:

-dominating conversations
-micromanaging things outside her area
-steering things toward her own promotion over our company's agenda
-people in my dept (mostly white) are visibly uncomfortable and reluctant to interrupt or contradict her (black woman)
