Boutique or big 4?

I'm currently an ops manager at a big 4 in London and received an offer from a small boutique firm with 25-30% pay rise.

I'm also in the process with Accenture but I feel like I'm not sure if I'd jump just for the money but also change in environment.
What type of things would you be asking yourself if you were in my shoes and debating to jump ship?

I'm thinking of moving strategy side, best bootcamps or programs to take? Assuming the company pays for it of course

I do sales for a major engineering firm. Focused on new business and exploring new markets. Last year I was in the top 50% for order intake, and first in number of projects won along with number of new customers. I think this is extraordinary given the effort it takes to win new business.

For next year my goal increased by 2.5X, and less of what I bring in counts towards that target. I really enjoy my job but I will essentially be getting a large pay cut. Lost in what to do besides quit??

Once you get into a FAANG company, is it better to stay where you are or move around? I’m a dissatisfied with my current job but I have vesting stocks, work 9-5, and people to know and respect me. I am the sole provider for my family and value quality of life and stability. I have some interview requests from other FAANG companies that I know pay more but I worry about starting over. Anyone switch companies and either regret it or are glad they did?

I am feeling hopeless. I’m a tax senior been through 4 busy seasons with Deloitte. The tax I’m in is pretty niche and I kinda wanna leave tax all together since I wanna start a family and personally can’t do it with another busy season. I don’t know who is willing to hire me because I feel pigeonholed. I’m just hating every moment with this firm right now. Any advice on what positions/companies might be best to look into?

Tips for bankruptcy associates who eventually want to move in-house? 3rd year associate in bankruptcy/restructuring group doing mainly bk lit but a few deals too. Need to stay in BL for at least another year for the money, but eventually want to move in-house. The path to in-house seems more straightforward for general commercial lit or more standard transactional practices. Any tips for someone who’s practice is a bit of a hybrid (and who will never likely do discovery or handle a depo)

What kind of careers do people usually pursue after working in media planning?

Any tips for moving up in a medium/large-sized legal department, aside from switching companies? I work in a collegial environment with plenty of opportunities to create more value, but the management level is fairly crowded and it seems the clearest path to get one of those roles is to be hired into it. I currently work in Private (GA) Aviation & have for some time (about 12 years) I’m currently making the switch to the Department of Aviation and am unsure if I should ditch my current job (in private) and go full force with the DOA & embrace this new opportunity educationally and gather as much experience as I can or keep both jobs even though I’d be working 80hr weeks.. Hi guys, year ago received an offer from PwC accepted it with all the information about uan, pan etc uploaded in idfy as well. But not abe to join. Now, after 1 year again received offer from PwC. Wanted to confirm will that be an issue as previously i rejected the offer after uploading all my details in idfy portal. Now again i have to do the same will that be already visible in Background verification. Will that be a problem will this effect my joining. Please suggest. PwC India Deloitte KPMG

Got written up by my admin for sending a PSA to teachers to call a trans student by their correct name and pronouns. Says I “didn’t follow the chain of command for Title IX issues.” For context I teach in the south and my admin says they legally “don’t recognize transgenders.” Any advice?

Could use some help with an awkward dynamic.

My Dept has been tapped to help another dept promote a DEI study. The client dept has hired a consultant in this area. The challenges I see with this consultant's work style:

-dominating conversations
-micromanaging things outside her area
-steering things toward her own promotion over our company's agenda
-people in my dept (mostly white) are visibly uncomfortable and reluctant to interrupt or contradict her (black woman)
