Hey so does anyone have tips on switching from E2 to a TN visa? I just started my E2 role a couple of weeks ago but soon realized that the promises the organization made upon hire will not be met now. I’m thinking of using this opportunity to make a career pivot and come back with a different organization on a TN visa since a career pivot would mean that I cannot prove “special knowledge” like E2. Does anyone have tips on what I can do to ensure my TN would be approved in a whole new career? TIA

I faked my resume I mean my contracting firm did and I didn’t have choice and I got the job. Now my client wants to offer me a full time position. Wanted to understand what happens in FAANG companies if H-1b visa runs out and there is no I-140 in place to extend visa beyond 6 years. Do they transfer the employee to a non-US office E.g. Canada? Does anyone here been through this scenario?
