Looking to confirm or crush my expectation as part of a business model. Are M&A like technology assessments somewhat standardized for angel investors or do you start by independently evaluating specific platform, data, code, technical architecture issues? I’m assuming there are individuals who seek technology risks for value opportunities while others avoid such risks. Is it common to ignore technology choices or are there other options I’m missing?

I'm a Data scientist with 5 years of experience (all experience is in data science). How much CTC can I expect ?

I am currently working as analytics professional. Some of the work included but not limited to are Insights generation, root cause analysis, creation and maintenance of data pipeline for owned charters and projects.

Regularly used tools are SQL (Hive, Trino, MSSQL), python, dashboarding tool.

My agency is shifting to begin doing quick turn organic social production for a few brands and I’m trying to build a team that can support these asks. Ive honestly never worked at an agency that successfully handled this without it feeling chaotic- anyone ever have a successful team with this type of work? Any advice is appreciated!

I have a friend who just started a new job-went from a big ad agency to a small start up. The boss at the new job wants to create the company website to show generic work. No actual clients, just work with made up company names. They have many clients that they work with-but won’t show them online. I have never heard of this? Why would someone do that? Isn’t it counterproductive to show fake companies and work? How can they discourage their boss that’s not a good idea without offending them?

I’ve just been invited to speak on a panel (industry event). I’ve never done this before. What’s the best way to prepare? All advice welcome!

Does anyone else just not even want to be a people manager anymore?! The amount of work this is taking, I’m just so over it. In addition to them piling on my work (which is a full time job) the people management stuff is just as much a full time job that no one in management seems to take into account. Looking for some advice - I'm thinking about going back to school in the next few years for my MBA and I'm wondering if I should stay at my firm for another year until I get promoted to consultant (level that most MBAs come in as) or if I should not bother and leave next year as a Senior Associate?
