Hi all, any insight on the Attorney-Advisor (Commission Attorney Honors Program) at CFTC? Or the agency in general?

It’s been a great place to work for me. I believe there is a virtual program coming up later in September to learn more about the new Honors Program and the agency. I’d check that out.

I plan on attending the program actually! Any idea of how competitive it is?

Nope. I can say that hiring for more senior roles is definitely competitive. The agency tends to get lots of applicants from private sector and other government because, among other things, we have a much higher payscale than GS.

Good luck, if you decide to apply.
