Hi All, Got an offer from Accenture 2 weeks back. The salary offered was lower that what I was already holding. I was asked to share the existing offer letter and since then they just give an update like they are working on revision of my offer letter. It’s been two weeks now. Anybody facing similar issue or any advised is welcomed as in what to do?

Partners, need some career advice. I'm in a niche BU at a big 4 focusing on risk related to certain cutting edge innovations in my industry (intentionally being vague). I'm being heavily recruited by a competitor firm to jump. I have just over 6 YOE, looking to promote in a little over a year (which would still be early at my current firm). To clarify, I'm not looking to leave, but will never say never. Firm looking to poach talks big game RE comp (potential to double my high 100s salary). Cont.

I’m currently being considered for a job and received a call last week from HR to discuss the organization’s health/retirement benefits and what my salary expectations are. Still no official offer yet, but I was told that the process could take some time. Is the call from HR a good sign? I’m nervous about how long it’s taking for the organization to officially say whether they’d like to move forward with me or not.

I personally feel Virtusa is going through some positive changes after BPEA acquired it.

So I've been at my job for 5+ years as a data analyst/back office support team. I made my way up into making a little over $40k. I've been WFH the past 2 yrs and overtime more than half my team has now been pulled out to work for a diff department which resulted in me taking 90% of our daily tasks to handle. I ended my career on June 7. I was never going to retire. I was a K-6 Art teacher! I said I would never retire, teaching had been my identity and my life! Well, I changed my mind on the first day of school this year.

The “remote” teaching for a year did me in, but I stayed because I thought this year, things would be normal, teaching “in person.” I was excited.

I was so wrong because the behavior was unbelievable! I never had behavior problems bc I just took away the Art to manage the students.
The class always came around. I was committed to teach the entire school year. I did it!

I am so relieved that every single day in August will not feel like a Sunday night. The relief is grand!

Some recruiter in Accenture lined me up for an interview for a role which was not in my skillset ( by saying that this is just an evaluation exercise and they will map me to the right role) and obviously I got rejected. Now I see that I am not eligible to apply the role which I was targeting for the next 6 months. Any idea how can I get this escalated so that the recruiter ( Accenture employee) should at least be careful in future before fooling a noob like me?

From last 40-50 day's; I get call from HR ...
.they asked whether they can schedule interview on Wednesday....i said Yes.

But somehow I get schedule cancellation e-mail on or before Tuesday & the process continues from last 1.5 months
