As a 602 with 12.6 YOE
Got 10 % mid year hike on a fine day unexpectedly which pushed my cctc to 29.2
We have 60k ceo bonus and 18% variable pay I am getting since last 4 years.
After checking lot of posts here it seems I am on low ctc here.
How much should I target next and which companies ?
JPMorgan Chase
I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

Yeah you can resign based on LOI, I resigned even bfr loi because I Have 3 months notice but I had other offer which I am not interested to join, Amex has more formalities and approvals for offer letter and it takes time that's the reason they give LOI

I have a different perspective on this. It may be early to comment as well. I had got a letter of intent on Sep 25th with a specific date as joining date. I have spoken to HR on the sane day and told her that I have 2 months NP and in worst case if I had to serve full 2 months, it is not possible to honor your offered day of joining. She asked me to respond to that email with my intended date of joining which I did on the same day. Upon my enquiring about timelines to get the offer letter, she told me that it might take 4 to 5 days. I followed up twice since then with sufficient time gap for them to respond, yet no response from them till date. I did not call them yet. I dont know whats happening in the background - if they are processing my application or if they are evaluating other candidates or if the position is on hold / closed. Since they have not responded to my email - it can lead to many interpretations. Definitely not a good experience that one would like to go through
HR called me sometime last week to make some system related changes at my end in order to generate offer letter which I did and conveyed that I received another offer during the time they ghosted and I did not feel good about their stand of not responding for nearly a month.
