Question : I have two offers on the table. 1- 22.25/ hr - permanent position with benefits and vacation
2- 24.71 / hr - 12 month contract , 4% in leui of benefits , possibility for permanent

Both are 35 hours, same schedule .
Either decision will hurt someone. Whether it be coworkers or new employer.

Deloitte USI is offering me 15LPA fixed and 1lack joining bonus and HCL offering me 23LPA fixed. I've tried to negotiate with deloitte but they are not ready to negotiate and asking me to join on the same CTC which was initially provided. I'm confused to select the company. Senior engineer making 135k and I was offered a promotion to engineering manager after completing a development plan. Near the end of the plan and I expect compensation talks to start soon. Based on some research around Boston and my role in the company, I feel 165k plus 10-15% bonus is fair. Nonetheless, first time going through something like this and asking for thoughts and comments. 1. Yearly hike starting from 10%. ( 1st year hike could be around 6%)
2. Work life balance
3. Large pool of paid leaves ( Around 44 days of paid leave)
4. Huge number of internal opportunities
5. Health insurance by company

Cons :

1. Business travels are mostly for management peoples
2. No benefits out of CTC like free food , free cab
3. No gifts for any festivals
4. Leaves cant be encashed and only 7 will get carry forward
