I'm having a offer from Kraft Heinz company GCC India. But there are many rumours as company is not doing good globally. And GCC is also being criticised for poor management and job security. Should I consider this offer. My main concern is job security, however I'm getting pretty good hike on my current CTC as well. Please advise 🙏

For people in consulting - do you often read books about project management and motivation? Would appreciate your recommendations (preferably the ones with more than one thought for the whole brick of text 🤨).

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

Coming out at work by bringing my girlfriend (serious) to our firm outing!!! Nervous but ready to be happy and open!

Which company send employees to onsite soon? If we consider normal times and keep covid out of picture. I stayed with Infosys for 8 years and had best ratings but never got onsite.. now I switched to captive but really want to go onsite. I will switch again next year but would really like to join company which send it's people onsite soon.. any suggestions?? P.S. Presently, I am paid decently in TCS...got offers from KPMG and LTI...but then couldn't accept them and stopped my job search ...

But if at some point when I would feel saturated with the work at TCS...

Can u guys help me by naming good companies in Kolkata...that I could consider as an option in future...?

I want to switch but wanted to know what would be decent hike in reputed or mid size org. I would not like to take into consideration the start up as they may pay quite high when compared to a large size organization.

18-20 L fixed is my analysis.

I had HR discussion with TCS today. My current CTC is 20 lpa and I have an offer for 26.5 , expecting one from Genpact for 28.5. The TCS HR said they can provide 27 as CTC and I asked for 28 max. She said she'll check and get back in 2 days.
I don't want to miss the oppy with TCS. Will the HR come back or should I have accepted for 27??

Hi friends. I have been offered Manager designation at EY GDS in Consulting. I have 9 years of credit risk experience in BFSI companies (apart from 3 years of pre-MBA experience in IT). I have no prior experience in consulting.

Is it a good decision to join this profile? What would be the day-to-day work of a manager be like?

All your valuable inputs would be really helpful.

PS: Is the designation reasonable? I see some people with 6-7 YOE as managers and with 8-9 YOE as senior managers.
