Why do some oganizations' HRs do not reveal interview result and keeps on saying "Interviews are still going on" whenever candidate follows up.

I have been getting this response for 2 months now. Notice period is ending. Don't what is in their mind.

I’m a newly graduate from a community college. My program of study was Health Information Technician. I passed my RHIT exam a month ago, and I’ve been applying to jobs in state, out of state, and remotely to only receive “sorry you were not selected email.”I don’t have experience and I know that’s the reason I’m not getting selected. I'm an undergrad (tier 2 engineering college) working in consulting for the last 2.5 years. Was underpaid so decided to pursue MBA.

Sudden turn of events led me to secure a 200% hike at another consulting major. They're paying 18lpa + bonus which I think is also the pay offered at premier b schools.
