Hi all, I’m looking to pivot into an entry level Finance role, ideally FP&A. I have a Mathematics degree and 2 years at Accenture in tech consulting and operations, where I developed strong analytical and Excel skills working with data and stakeholders. I’m seeing many entry level FP&A roles still ask for finance experience or qualifications. Any advice on entry routes, study paths or how to position myself would be really appreciated. I currently make 78k at Lockheed but I’m not doing what I’d like to be doing and i felt stuck and after many conversations with my manager and no solution in sight, I started applying elsewhere. Leaving my current job for a career pivot. Current job has been challenging to say the least and senior management never hears what others have to say. Employment is an at will state.
Senior leadership is so unforgiving that I fear by giving notice, I’ll be asked to leave and lose out on two weeks pay.
