Negotiating with EY for M/SM Tech Consulting. I have 15 years experience, skills are in demand and my interviews went extremely well. 1. What are the salary ranges for M and SM in NYC. 2. I guess you have to ask yourself if their productivity will be impacted by wfh. It's like with any other reasonable accommodation dilemma. It is a slippery slope, but it doesn't have to be. In my office we pretty much have a 30/30/30 split between FT office, WFH, and hybrid and that's without any requirements. (Fellow millennial here and I'm hybrid, a lot of GenZ is WFH and GenX and older at FT office)
Doctor’s notes.if your company decided hybrid and 3 days, despite any other factors. Then you have to follow a process. I hate it and we probably work for the same company. But the policy is office 3 days. It’s part of the e job (right or wrong, rationale or not). Any reasonable accommodations require process and doctors notes.
We had to go to formal documentation with a diagnosis. It became an issue due to a few bad apples. In retrospect, should have done from the beginning.
I am not surprised to see this and you're right, it is a slippery slope because pretty soon everyone is going to want to wfh full time and may use this as a reason. I would make sure there is formal documentation to back up them needing to work from home full time and then go from there.
