Hi all! Welcome to the K-12 Teachers and Staff Bowl. I noticed that there wasn't a community for people who work with students under higher education, so I thought I would make one! Feel free to share a bit about yourself. My title is Family Liaison, I am a front office worker who is there to support families, teachers, and other staff members. I also handle all of the communications for our school, manage our newsletter, social media, and photos of students and student work. I love my position!

Hi! The organization I have been interviewing for has recently put all roles on a hiring freeze BUT decided to offer me a contract role until it lifts (ETA Q1, 2023). My question is what would be reasonable compensation (full time 40 hrs, weekly).

expected CTS for 3.6 YOE as front end (react) developer?

Trying to decide on the HDHP Health Insurance. Basic vs. Premium. Benefits says the two are equivalent in coverage except three differences - deductible $3K premium vs $3.5k basic, no monthly payment for basic and no $2K company contribution for basic HDHP. What am I missing here. Why would t one not go for basic as you are ahead by about $1K. Any explanations or thoughts?

Anyone have lemonade pet insurance? I’m confused by it, it says if I pay 18ish a month more, it covers vaccines, heart worm test, blood test etc but only up to a certain amount. So is it not 80% of my bill? Is another insurance company easier haha
