Hi all - what's everyone's thoughts on how much one should "design" their resume? Are scanners so prevalent that I should strip down the layout to more of a word doc situation so I'm not getting passed over? I tested via LinkedIn and it pulled copy in all the wrong order.

I update my resume every application so that it matches some keywords of the job description I'm applying for.

I passed the HR screen, did an interview with who would be my) supervisor and the team lead, and am now doing a coding test.

Fellow introverts...can I only advance in my career if I take on a leadership role? The thought of this terrifies me.
