Hi! Anybody living at (or has lived at) Old Town Park apartments mind sharing their experience? Considering living there but have 3 little ones and not sure it’s in the safest/most walkable part of town. Also, open to any suggestions for a family friendly building with decent amenities and nearby parks. TIA!

I live in Old Town, across the street from the Marshall Field Garden Apartments, which is government public housing. All of that to say that I have never felt unsafe because of that. I don't have any direct insight on Old Town Park, but just wanted to share my Old Town experience.

It is right off of Division Street, which is not a nice street. But it’s a great building. Take a look at Lincoln Commons, though. Much better for a family and better neighborhood IMO.

LA fish: Any ideas for Pro Bono assistance for nonprofit community/cultural orgs? A family member recently joined the board of a nonprofit community/cultural org and is looking for counsel. There are no active legal issues, but they’re just trying to get affairs in order and have systems in place in case any do arise. I’m unable to represent them myself due to my work and lack of experience, and I’m unfamiliar with potential resources. Thank you!

What are some good practices during the sales phase of a potential project to execute before the contract is signed? Seems obvious but would love some ideas on standard operating procedures that help with seamlessly handing over a signed contract to the account team. I want to know why recruiters ask me in an interview if I am looking at other opportunities, or if I am interviewing at other companies. If I say yes they will ask at what stage I am.

I just want to know the reason behind it and if there is a right answer to this question!
