Im interviewing for an internal promotion at my current employer. I’ve previously expressed a lot of interest in this specific role and it’s well known throughout my division my interest. Even though I’ve conducted informational interviews before now to get a feel of the role, now that I’m going through the full interview process, it doesn’t seem like what I want to do any more. manager assistants are 100 percent remote while executive assistant roles are expected to be mapped to a local office. MAs support six senior managers or associate partners while EAs support 3 partners. MAs should have 1-3 years experience to apply and EAs should have 3-5 or more.

Looking for some advice on a couple of offers I have.

The first offer is for an Account Executive position at a smaller company with a base of $50k and another $20k in OTE.

The second offer is for a BDR position at a larger and faster growing company with a base of $60k and another $20k in OTE. Also some stock options but they aren’t public yet.

I have 2 YOE as a BDR and think I could succeed in either position. Both have hybrid work set ups. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated! Thanks.

Received a job offer. Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on a concern I had about it. It's an entry level position, and I don't have much experience. The billables are 2040 a year. For billable hours in civil litigation and insurance defense, is 2040 hours for a 1st year associate on the high end in this field for a small or midsize firm? It seems like most attorneys I know have minimum requirements of around 1800. The compensation is around 80k a year.

Case load= malpractice? Small plaintiff’s firm of 25 attorneys. I was a 2 year associate hired and given 50 active files in pre litigation status. 9 mos later a partner quit and I inherited 45 more. I got up to 105 files. Now I hover at 85 active files in varying stages of pre lit. I asked managing partner for help and was told to settle more claims to lessen my load. Is this what people consider negative work culture?
