Hi ,
Can anyone tell me how good is 75000+20% Performance based bonus for a 5+ years experience person in Amstelveen, Netherlands.
I just got my first draft and i will be getting about 2800 without the 30% ruling. Most probably i will get the 30% and it would increase but I was shocked by the low number of 2800.
Any advice ???
Does 75k include holiday pay? I can’t recognize how 75k can translate to 2800 pm.. but that’s way too low.. ok to survive as bachelor though.
Yes, it does include holiday allowance. The 2800 is without the 30% ruling into effect. With 30% it looks to be close to 3800 after all deductions. Still, kinda low according to me wrt 75k annual gross.
I think there might be a calculation error. Ran 75k through a tax calc and I see it works out to ~4k euros. Excluding holiday allowance and 30%
I hope so. I will contact my payroll dept.
I also did the same calculations on the tax calculator but I am getting less. I see a component of labour tax credit in the tax calculator but not in my pay slip. I do not understand what that is.. 30% application is in process but that will also make it 3800 net according to my calculations. I don't understand it, why it's coming low.
Keep in mind that 3800 euro after deductions is quite good for NL based standards. Keep in mind that you end up in top 10% of the country. Downside is that Amsterdam area and including Amstelveen is very expensive to live in. Good luck with the offer!!
Got some clarity. I am working remotely right now and do not have a BSN number yet. Hence the higher tax rate and no 30% ruling yet. Thr final figure should look upwards of 4k+.
