I asked for 18 LPA, HR hinted they may close around 17–17.5 LPA with ~7% variable
Direct project hiring
HR said I should receive the offer by Thursday
My confusion is brand vs salary.
At 5 years of experience, should I prioritize higher salary (Wipro) or go with Accenture for brand value and long-term growth?

Aerospace Systems Engineer. HCOL/Los Angeles. Current salary $184k. No bonus. 17 YOE. I'm just posting for a data point.

Mid level Electrical Engineer in the greater Baltimore, MD area making $115k base w/ $20k sign on bonus. No yearly bonus. I started this job in April of this year. 2-3 years experience. When I onboarded they told me to expect promotion to EE III in about a year. Performance reviews coming at the end of the this year and I’m wondering 1) if my salary is on par with what I should expect 2) how to approach conversations about raises and promotion with my supervisor. Looking for opportunities to work in my field eventually. I’m almost certified in project management through Google. Since I was previously trained in project management, I’m doing sometimes a week or 2 weeks worth of google coursework in one evening. I have used project management tools to improve processes and business outcomes ($$) in my jobs. And I have worked to teach others these principles to improve efficiency.
