Are there any disadvantages of joining a C2H role purely on the basis of high CTC even though it is for a big client of the contractor company?

My HR SPOC at Big 4 ( based out of Singapore) told me salary approval for me is done and he is taking headcount approval. Is there any chance head count approval can get rejected? And how much time from here till the final offer letter? Thanks!!

I currently work at an international law firm (4 years) and recently accepted an offer to go in house. The main attorney I support did not take the news well and was very angry with me.
