Does anyone have any advice on how to shift from a specialist (paid advertising) to a more strategic (in digital marketing) role? I've been job searching for a couple of weeks and would love to be considered for roles outside paid advertising but it seems to be extra challenging this time of the year.

I've done so well in this new role within the company that they are hiring another person to assist with what I do. I've voiced to my boss that I'd like to manage this department and they indicated that this is the thought for the future. Now they are asking me to train this person while I have my plate full. I am SAP HCM consultant having 4.10 years of experience. I feel that this module doesn’t have any growth. My first switch took me to 9LPA from 6LPA and now the second switch is being offered for 11.5LPA where I can see my fellow friends in SAP having more than 15LPA at the same experience on their second switch itself. Should I be worried about my skillset? Any insights would highly be appreciated. I feel stuck.
