Hi Everyone, I am currently working as a Senior Data Engineer with 7 years of experience and am looking for a job change. I have hands-on experience in PySpark, Hadoop ecosystem, Shell Scripting, and AWS. Could anyone with a similar background or who has recently switched jobs share the current salary range and how much I can realistically expect or quote during HR discussions? When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us?
