I want to move to canada mostly because my gf is moving there to study and I want to move with her.
Need some guidance on how to plan ahead regarding getting a job there with the work permit.

I don't know much about the process about how Indians can go there though IT industry. If anyone has any references it would be a great help.

Hey everyone! I hope y’all are having a good weekend! Quick question. PSM 1 or CSM? I’m having a hard time deciding between which exam/course to take. I’m in my first year out of undergrad and looking into getting some certs to help me advance in my career.

I’ve been practicing in both big law (many yrs ago) and now in-house for over 10 years. Quite often I struggle because I don’t find work fulfilling. I’ve been in industries that allegedly have greater cause (healthcare) but was eventually disappointed by the corporate bureaucracy and went to a cutting-edge tech company for intellectual stimulation. Still I struggle. Should I try public interest? Not that I don’t need the money but it’s hard to work when I am so detached and find it meaningless

For attorneys who have transitioned to corporate development/business development, was it worth it? I’ve heard CD involves a lot of process work and I’m not sure if I’m glamorizing the field compared to my (relatively technically challenging) field of law

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at an entertainment law firm prior to passing the bar. Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.
