I am into manual testing 5 years alongside i have learnt selenium and frameworks

In most of the companies you take your resignation back before last 15 days.
So just papers and try for companies you will get many ín last 30 days.
In worst case you take your resignation back.
But it never happens, almost 100% switch to new company once resigned only for few odd cases like onsite or higher salary retention which is very rare.
Usually there's a buy-out clause in the contract, where you may either serve the 3 month notice period entirely or pay some amount for 1/2/3 months (based on your choice) to reduce the notice period time. People often do this to match the new notice period time with joining time of new company. Hope this helps
