I attended the CITI drive at the Kharadi office on 11th Oct for the C-11 Java/UI Developer role and completed two interview rounds. HR verbally confirmed my selection and mentioned I’d receive the offer letter within 2 weeks after the document upload link. It’s been around 3 weeks now, but I haven’t received any update yet. Is anyone else from the same drive facing a similar delay?

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

My gf and me call each other everytime we have free time. However lately she seems disinterested in phone time. She never initiates calls anymore and she tells me she wants to hang up in the middle of the day and not right before bedtime. We live a 4 hour drive apart. And I told her this is like living together from a distance, because I put her on the house speakers. What can I do to keep her engaged?

Anyone unsure of what to do for bridesmaids “proposals?” I want them to get excited and feel special but when I see how much money I’d be spending on things like custom totes or mugs I’m like is it really worth it? I’d send cards but most of my bridal party I see pretty regularly/they live nearby so it seems odd to send them something when I live down the street. Help! 😅
