Hi everyone, I have a mini case interview with capital one next week Monday, I was sent a case study prep material and was told the mini case interview will be similar. I wanted to find out if this is true or if the actual interview will be entirely different. Also, any tips that might help will be greatly appreciated as this is my first case interview ever. Those who do financial modeling at work: for case study in interviews, is it bad practice to submit a model based on a premade template, assuming that I understand all formulas and incorporate my own reasonable assumptions? For reference, I don’t work with fundamental modeling (quant background) so I needed to get a template to teach myself. TIA

He has a bachelors in science (chemistry maybe?) from H/Y/P and after undergrad he took a less traditional route and was working as an instructor for things like tennis, piano, snowboarding, etc.. 1. Given it’s an internal consulting role, are the hours equally bad / worse than consulting firms?
