I am noticing how I feel on a given day is largely determined by how my work is going. A minor bump in a work day ruins my mood and I’m miserable. I just finished a case study for a boutique restructuring consulting firm and it felt impossible. Is it me or it was designed to feel that way? Objective was 3 statement model, 2 years historical 3 years projected. Send in excel + ppt in 5 hours. I was given a 10k (which btw is NOTHING like the easy 3 statement models online). I saw accounts that I’ve never heard of. wtf do I do with forex, deferred income tax, amortization of deferred lease credits on the cash flows?? Background audit then FDD.

What questions did you wish you asked hr before joining a new firm? Have to sign by Tuesday next week and need last minute questions answered!
