Hi everyone, I have a total of 5.3 years of IT experience, with 3.3 years of expertise in React.js. Currently, I am working at Infosys with a CTC of 5.8 LPA, and this would be my first job switch. I recently received an offer from Deloitte USI with a fixed CTC of 14 LPA. I would like to understand if this is a good hike compared to industry standards. Also, based on my experience and skill set, what salary range should I ideally expect? Looking forward to your valuable suggestions.

I recently quit my job. My VP was a narcissist and never really looked out for my upward progression even though he said he was my sponsor. Whenever I would do a solid job, he would always down play it or give the mid-level mgr credit even though other people / management acknowledged it. But we still got along. When I gave my two week notice, I did not meet up or talk to him (I cancelled a good bye 1-on-1 b/c I was over it) - sent a short thank you email instead and ghosted. Was this justified?

Recently received notice from landlord rent is going up ~20%. For reference, it is privately owned condo and did not sign at a COVID discounted rate. Super frustrated. What are others seeing for rent increases?

Aww, bummed to see this is a dead bowl. Anyone still around?? Getting ready for our first internal off-site and I haven't seen the rest of my team in person for almost 3 years now. I'm more nervous about the new folks that I have only met via Teams, including my 1st-ever direct report. I feel fine in my own skin most of the time but when I am in new and unfamiliar situations I get crazy body dysmorphia and super concious of my physicality.
