I’m a Data Analyst with ~2 years’ experience (SQL, Python, Power BI, Excel) and I’m pivoting into Data Stewardship & Governance. Recently, I applied for the Data Steward role at Amex (Gurgaon) but wasn’t shortlisted.

I’d love guidance from those already in governance/stewardship roles (Amex, Accenture, Genpact, EY, Deloitte, etc.):
• What skills or keywords do recruiters look for in governance resumes?
• How important is prior data quality / Collibra / MDM exposure at entry leve

I am being head hunted more frequently. I am in the final stages for one position that seems like an amazing opportunity with a company that plans to go public this year and was just approached for another potential opportunity for a big company that went public last year. Ever feel like an opportunity is too good to be true or are these great opportunities really out there? I think I am just scared to take the leap of faith

Recently switched jobs and had several thousand available to rollover into my new 401K. Also just got married/had a wild bachelor party/overspent on honeymoon, which led to me having about the same amount in high interest credit card debt. Definitely feel like it’s a one time thing and I know how to budget better for trips now. So, my question is, should I use my old 401K amount to just pay off my debt, taking the 10% hit in penalties, or should I roll it over to my new employers 401K?

Hi fishes, I joined infosys as manual tester in trade finance domain at 3 Lpa now after almost 2 years of experience I have offer from tcs for 4 Lpa and quality kiosk for 7.5 lpa. Tcs offered me a developer role while quality kiosk offered me the same role in Testing with trade finance domain. Tcs refused to renegotiate the salary even a little. I'm not sure where I should join, any suggestions?

I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.
