What is the point in asking why do you want to switch after all interview process ? Haven't HR seen resume with all career progression for a candidate before shortlisting that resume which means they are fine with another Switch. If at all they want to ask this question so as to eliminate someone , they should ask this as the first call by them before scheduling the interview. It is a two process i.e. you need a resource and we don't ask them why do you want to recruit us ?

Hi all, my friend joined a company in HR dept less than a month ago. He continued to look for better opportunities and now he received a higher position (with higher pay) in a growing startup (200+ employees).
1. He won't be absconding but in case of not serving the NP, he just won't be receiving his experience letter right?
2. He hasn't informed about this current exp. to new company, will the startup find out through pan card link?
3. What's the scenario like if the new company does find out?
