I’ve interviewed four times over the past year for the same Application Support role at Version 1 (Dublin). I cleared technical rounds each time but didn’t receive an offer after managerial/client rounds. HR says there’s no negative feedback, and my profile keeps being shared for new openings. Is it common for final decisions to depend on timing or fit rather than performance? Any advice appreciated.

Just curious to how my firms (wealth management/bank/trust) comp compares with others out there. I received a promotion earlier this year from an Investment Advisor, AVP to Senior Investment Advisor, VP and moved from $110K to $140K ($130 salary + $10K discretionary bonus) all in. By meeting expectations in 2 pay cycles, the base bumps up to $175K + bonus. Grown in this role over about 10 years with the same firm, MBA + CFA; top 10 city and living comfortably as dual income household.

My firm’s IT (especially system saving and file locating function) is so bad 😐😞 and they keep doing updates no one asked them for just to mess with the stuff we already got a hang of without doing anything about the issues we actually need fixed. Anyone else in a similar boat? Do you bill the client for the time it takes to fix the IT issue (or IT inefficiency generally, like time taken to find a file in a convoluted system)? Or is that supposed to be our non-billable time?

Prior to ICICI I was in a Supply Chain start up which was not fully analytics profile. Now, my CTC is 4.55 LPA but during interview the HR agreed on 5.5 lpa. So my question is am I under paid?
