I have not been on a project for over 3 months. Since I joined, I have been put in training. The training got extended by a month and now it's close to 4 months since I joined and without a project.

What should I do? People say that I'm lucky to get paid without doing any work, but it is stressing me out. I need the experience. The uncertainty is freaking me out, with rumours of layoffs and the certification program and all.

How do I get into a project? How long do I have to wait more?

I want to make the switch to product development or management. I only have experience in a webte agency and would love to explore other roles and companies.

Ps, do you notice who does the work? Got lukewarm feedback on a project with a huge team that included 3 Ms with one playing pseudo-Lead as their “slide-building and analysis aren’t as great”

I attended a client interview last week and was selected for the same. Now they are asking to join within a day or two. I'm having my mom's surgery this week. How to safely refuse to join this client project for at least 10 days. I can't take leave for 10 days.

Serious billing question - if during the course of the day, you first receive an email from Client A at say 11:10am and you read it, you then respond to it at 12:20pm. You get another email at 2pm from Client A and respond immediately. The next email comes in at 4pm, you read it and respond only at 4:30pm. None of the email responses take more than 3-5mins. You are working on matters for other clients at all other times during the day. How much are you billing for Client A?

How are 1st year litigation associates dealing with WFH? I’ve been having terrible anxiety/panic attacks, and pretty sure my billables wont exceed 110 for April. I'm a third year plaintiff's employment law attorney and I'm looking to move to defense, preferably still in employment law. I received an offer from a midsize firm that primarily focuses on PI with little-to-no employment law practice, so I'll have a bit of a learning curve. Offer is $90k, billable hours of 2100. Is this reasonable? I'm dead-set on leaving my current job, and this would be a $20k pay increase - which makes me believe I'm leaning towards taking it for those reasons only.

Hi!Would like to get some perspectives on the Walmart and Amazon offers that I just received. Slightly more interested in Amazon Fashion's work but it's offered at $80K less than Walmart...
A few questions here:
1) Is the Amazon brand better than Walmart that's worth $80K in TC?
2) Are Strategy roles better perceived than Marketing roles and will have higher long-term pay potential? (I went to business school where almost everybody wants to do Strategy...)
3) Is Amazon culture very concerning?
