I currently have around 2 years of experience as a Laravel Developer. I'm currently working in a small company with a team size of around 10–12 people.

My goal is to eventually move to a larger product-based company, work on large-scale systems, and continue growing as a software engineer.

Is the RPA market still hot? Do we have nice opportunities?

For retired employees, should I educate them about money management and then give my business cards out? Or should i just pitch my services to them?

Do you ever let how well/poorly your day is going affect when you're interviewing someone? I've been in interviews where it's obvious the interviewer wants to get back to work asap

What is the approx income (to be expected) of a 5years experienced Devops engineer in Singapore?

So my VP at my previous company felt bad and refused to speak to me or attend my farewell after my resignation. His reason was that I somehow betrayed his trust as he had promoted me just last year (after keeping the position open for 4 months and letting me take additional work load after the previous SM left!). Does this make any sense? I mean where does this sense of entitlement or ownership over the employees come from? No wonder the company in question is kind of facing a literal exodus!

Misled on Maternity Leave Policy. I found out I only get 4 weeks pay for maternity leave (STD +“sick days”). I will take 12 weeks but wont get paid for 8 weeks. I work for a US, west coast based company in the tech/VC industry. Their website claims to offer “paid parental leave and other progressive benefits for parents”. I didn’t find out until after I was hired their pay was only 8 weeks but since I have been at the company less than 12 months, I don’t qualify for their policy. Is this unfair?
