Suggest some courses to get better at excel
Dear all,
My friend is trying to get into her 1st full-time job. Previously she worked as a UI UX designer for multiple clients (freelance). But she couldn't manage to get an interview call. She is an excellent UI UX designer and an illustrator. If anyone has any options, kindly comment below, I will share her resume. She is a btech graduate with 2 year experience in ui ux designing/illustration field.

Pro actively setup a daily recurring 15 mins cadence call with him evry morning. Set it up yourself with an agenda to understand the tasks / activities to be completed on same day.
That will help allay his uneasiness and will develop confidence about you and your intent. Explain to him over cofee that you have prior engagements planned which makes difficult for you to stay beyond work but you can do that if its really urgent and critical but not everyday.
Well, to start with, ask him can we do this tomorrow? Or tell him upfront that you don't want to work beyond a certain time defined by you, 7 PM or whatever.
Somebody who is decent enough would understand. Else there's nothing much you can do - Maybe switch your team or project or switch your company - If somebody is willingly hell bent on ruining your mental health then you can't do much continuing to stay under him.
Tell that you have other engagements planned after work hours and also instil confidence that it is the first thing in the next morning that you will be working upon.
1) Try to convey that you have to lo log off by time and you will take up the work next day
2) If they are not professional and behave like school kids ask for team or project change if possible (doesn’t workout many of the cases)
3) Change company
Majority of the cases option 3 will workout. Whatever you do , you will end up choosing option 3
