Hi everyone, so I'm a Canadian citizen and have applied for a job in USA. I got a call for the interview. If they ask me would i be requiring any sponsorship? What should my answer be? I know for the fact Canadians can work in USA according to NAFTA agreement. Also what should i tell me where I'm based currently as I had mentioned my sisters address USA in my resume but right now i am in Canada.

Does industry have billable hours? At the big 4, we are required to work a certain number of hours each week and if we spend too much time on anything we are questioned on why it took so long. Is that a thing when you go in industry?

I can really use some direction. My background, I've worked 2 years in strategy and am currently coming off an exhausting year 2 in investment banking. I didn't particularly enjoy either role and am not interested in moving over to the buy-side or some monotonous FP&A role. Everybody says there's exit-ops aplenty, but I find myself with less options and even more picky than I did as an ambitious T2 undergrad student. Where do I go from here?
