You can go for 9 LPA first and. put the papers and keep trying. Once you have multiple offers, you can negotiate somewhere around 12-14 LPA or even 15+.
Hi ,I have 2.3 years of experience ,cctc 6.87lpa , yesterday got 9lpa offer from Cognizant. Applied notice period yesterday .
You can try for 15+ also with multiple offers.

I agree with Coforge 1. For Service based MNCs, you will not get a single hike of big difference, you have to negotiate it with multiple offers.
For FAANG, you can directly ask for a huge difference, they don't consider the current ctc. They just have specific bands and if you pass their criteria to get onboarded in a particular band, you will get that much hike without any issue.
