This query is about filing IT return. So just to give an example, I earned around 3 lakhs by means of proof reading & academic writing services
However, this income is not there in my 26AS Form.

So do I need to still declare this under "Other income" while filing ITR?

And if I dont then can the IT Dept catch me by any means?

If needed, I can touch base with anyone who has good knowledge about this Income tax related stuff.
